With the NBA playoffs in full swing, one-half of last season’s Finals matchup appear well on their way to making a run at a title, while the defending champions are looking a little shakier. The top-seeded team in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors, finished the 2016-17 regular season with 67 wins, and took game one of their series against the Portland Trail Blazers, 121-109. That was despite a combined 75 points from Portland’s dynamic guard duo, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. If that’s not enough to scare Golden State, it’s hard to imagine much else will, especially since the Warriors recently added superstar Kevin Durant back to the lineup after being out with a knee injury. In the East, the second-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers are the still the presumptive favorites, but the Cavs haven’t exactly been dominant of late. They finished the regular season on a four-game losing streak and barely squeaked by the Indiana Pacers in game one of their series, 109-108. Social has taken notice of Cleveland’s struggles, handing the Cavs just 49 percent positives in the last three days, compared with the Warriors and their 56 percent positive score.
