While millions of Americans file their taxes today, President Donald Trump will be dodging new questions about his returns, which have been haunting him since the campaign trail. Trump has refused to release his returns despite polls showing that 71 percent of Americans want to see them. Social is also interested, giving “Trump + Tax Returns” 72 percent negative sentiment on 30dB, while the President himself has been seeing 73 percent negative sentiment over the past week. (To be fair, a new Rasmussen poll gives him a 50 percent approval rating, though as Maggie Haberman of The New York Times tweeted: “The bad news is it's Rasmussen.”) Tax return blues came to a head over the weekend when protests were launched all across the country. The Tax March Rallies were organized in more than 150 cities, according to New York’s Daily News, and provided a big response to Trump’s claims of voter apathy. “We all are very interested in not only where this president had business ties and who he is beholden to, but why he refuses to show us,” comic Sarah Silverman said at a New York City march.
