Days after winning an unprecedented fifth Super Bowl in one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history, Tom Brady is barely skewing positive on Social. Fifty-seven percent of users give a thumbs up to the New England Patriots quarterback, who erased a 25-point deficit against the Atlanta Falcons to win Super Bowl LI 34-28. Brady helped the Patriots convert on multiple two-point attempts crucial to giving his team a chance and finished with 466 yards (a championship game record) to go with two touchdowns and one interception. He may have cemented his place as the greatest quarterback of all time, but his inability to crack a 60 percent positive score could have something to do with President Donald Trump. In Sept. 2015, a “Make America Great” hat was spotted in Brady’s locker. He’s since referred to Trump as his friend but has attempted to stay out of the politics. That has infuriated some sports fans who say he can’t have it both ways. Brady isn’t the only Patriot linked to Trump—head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft are old friends of the President. Perhaps the clearest sign that Trump critics are weighing in on Brady is a word driving his Vibe that you wouldn't associate with a football player—“fascist.”
