After his comments about voter fraud, Senior White House policy adviser Stephen Miller is the latest member of Team Trump to earn Social’s ire. Miller appeared on ABC’s The Week on Sunday, where he claimed that busing fraudulent voters into New Hampshire had been a serious problem. Host George Stephanopoulos pushed back against the claims, asking Miller to provide proof. But Miller proved that he really is President Donald Trump’s guy when instead of walking the claims back, he doubled down. The exchange is certainly partly to blame for the blowback from Social, which is calling him corrupt and creepy and giving him a 72 percent negative sentiment rating. Miller is also taking heat from the Federal Election Commission. FEC member Ellen Weintraub called on Miller to share his evidence, so the commission can investigate the claims. But Miller’s voter fraud statements pale in comparison with what he said about Trump’s national security decisions. He told Face the Nation host John Dickerson that “that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial and will not be questioned.” With National Security Adviser Michael Flynn calling it quits on Monday over improper contacts with Russia, Miller’s statement has been raising hackles.
