Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Moscow and Donald Trump's campaign has often caught many Trump allies and operatives off guard. But there is one onetime Trump confidant who has bragged about being prepared for anything Mueller might throw at him. Veteran Republican strategist and trickster Roger Stone said on last Sunday's Meet the Press that although Mueller's team has not reached out to him yet, he is ready for any investigation. “It is not inconceivable now that Mr. Mueller and his team may seek to conjure up some extraneous crime pertaining to my business, or maybe not even pertaining to the 2016 election,” Stone said. “I would chalk this up to an effort to silence me.” Social media users certainly wish Stone would stay silent, due in large part to his comments about the late Republican matriarch Barbara Bush. In an Instagram post just hours after Bush's death, Stone called her a "nasty drunk" and joked that if she were cremated, "her body would burn for three days.” Stone defended his comments, saying that the former First Lady had said much worse about him, but social media users still give Stone 84 percent negative opinions. –Hugo Guzman
