The QB Johnny Manziel hasn’t thrown a pass in an NFL game since December 2015 for reasons that go well beyond football. He has dealt with substance abuse issues and was credibly accused of domestic violence (the charges were dismissed after Manziel completed an anger-management course). Now, Manziel is attempting a public relations tour alongside an actual pro football comeback. He told Good Morning America in February that he went to rehab, is no longer drinking, and has been diagnosed as bipolar. Manziel has an offer to sign with a Canadian Football League team, but before he commits to that, he’s giving the NFL another go. The former Heisman winner participated in two pro days in the last week, and after the most recent one, an NFC scout told, "I thought he looked better throwing the ball today than he did four years ago.” Manziel will next participate in the Spring League, which gives aspiring NFL talent a chance to play in front of scouts. The New England Patriots have supposedly taken some interest in the 25 year old, though Manziel may not have endeared himself to other teams after tweeting his support for the exiled Colin Kaepernick. Over the past seven days, "Johnny Manziel" has a 61 percent positive score on Social. –Alex Shultz
