A new debate has broken out on social media, one a bit more amicable than the battle over healthcare reform or pizza toppings. Guy Fieri and Anthony Bourdain are two of the biggest names in Foodie World, but their drastically different styles have fans wondering which one is the culinary top dog. At first, it might seem like Fieri is totally out of his weight class, with his flaming shirts and frosted tips. After all, Bourdain’s gritty and off-road style has landed him a job with CNN, while Fieri has been stuck at the Food Network for nearly his entire career. But Social is backing the underdog. Fieri gets 63 percent positive sentiments, while Bourdain trails at 59. Could the secret to Fieri’s online popularity lie within his coyly incomplete goatee? That's exactly what comedian Shane Torres claims in his latest stand-up album, Established, 1981. Torres says, according to the website A.V. Club, that while Bourdain might have the gourmet chops, he also looks like “the kind of person that would be mean to dogs.” Fieri, on the other hand, supports small businesses, officiates at gay weddings and rocks that silly do. –Hugo Guzman
