Barack Obama might wrapping up his presidency, but he’s not done rocking it on Social just yet. Following his Tuesday night farewell address, the outgoing President scored 65 percent positive sentiment ratings, a veritable slam-dunk in politics. In his speech, Obama touted huge accomplishments such as healthcare reform and diplomacy deals with Iran. But he was humble, too. He admitted to his audience that the political conversation has taken a turn for the worse under his watch and called on Americans to rebuild those bridges. "It falls to each of us to be those anxious, jealous guardians of our democracy," the President said. "To embrace the joyous task we've been given to continually try to improve this great nation of ours." That might be a bit of wishful thinking on his part. Only a few days into the new Congress, GOP lawmakers have started working on ways to roll back Obamacare and countless other Obama policies. Still, no matter what becomes of Obama’s legacy, Social is sending him a big “Thank you.” Sentiments like “will miss,” “most memorable” and “greatest” are all driving the Vibe.
