President Trump announced his reelection, we're closing in on the first set of Democratic debates and we're beginning to see some signs of Dem infighting. Welcome to June, 2019. Polls are coming out regularly showing some candidates rising at the expense of others while social media continues to put a Mayor from South Bend, IN at the head of the pack. Social media is open to all to opine on the candidates, not just those likely to cast Democratic primary votes, and provides an interesting view of the total electorate. The view from social puts @PeteButtigieg as the continuing King of the Mosh Pit with an impressive 70 percent positives over the last week followed by a fast closing 67 percent positives for @EWarren. The impressive showing of the two Twitter frontrunners may have come at the expense of @BernieSanders who is pulling 54 percent positives over the last week compared to 57 percent positives for @JoeBiden. Rounding out the leaderboard of those with solid volumes is @KamalaHarris who is pulling an even 50 percent positives. For those with lower volumes @AmyKlobuchar leads with 61 percent positives, followed by @CoryBooker at 59 percent positives and @SenGillibrand bringing up the rear with 47 percent positives. Our last look at the candidates was on April 8, 2019 when @PeteButtigieg was pulling 72 percent positives. For Mayor Pete to only give up two points under the gathering heat of the spotlights could be a foretelling of things to come, however, with @EWarren picking up points, Mayor Pete had better keep an eye on Twitter's rear view mirror.
