As FCC Chairman Ajit Pai plows forward with his plan to dismantle Net Neutrality – the rule that prohibits ISPs like Comcast from charging consumers based on content and usage, such as binge-watching Netflix -- actress Alyssa Milano has emerged as perhaps his biggest adversary, albeit an unexpected one. Milano has used her Twitter account, which has 3.3 million followers, to criticize Pai and argue against the repeal of Obama-era rules that strengthened Net Neutrality. Pai took the bait and responded in a speech last week, at one point referencing an old TV show Milano appeared on. He said: "I'm threatening our democracy? Really? If this were Who's the Boss? this would be an opportunity for Tony Danza to dish out some wisdom about the consequences of making things up." Last Wednesday, Milano issued a tweet-thread reply to Pai’s comments, and she got plenty of attention. Before she listed off some recent Net Neutrality developments, she wrote: “I’m not going to personally attack @AjitPaiFCC in return. I’m just going to stick to real facts because the facts are on my side.” Her approach -- and her cause -- appears to be pretty popular on Social: Over the last 14 days, @Alyssa_Milano has a 60 percent positive score, while @AjitPaiFCC has just a 33 percent positives. –Alex Shultz
