President Trump has posted disturbing tweets before, but he took things to a new level on Wednesday morning with posts that are reverberating across the world. Trump retweeted three videos from far-right politician Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of the Britain First party. The videos purported to show people of Muslim faith committing violent and incendiary acts, though there is no proof that the individuals in the clips are Muslim. Trump was quickly condemned for spreading hateful messages by UK Prime Minister Theresa May, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn. The State Dept. also warned the White House that Trump's actions might lead to protests at U.S. embassies. After getting May’s Twitter handle wrong the first time, Trump eventually struck back with a response, writing: @Theresa_May, don’t focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!” Trump may have dented America’ relationship with a close ally, but he was applauded by white supremacist David Duke. Not as much clapping on Social, however: Over the last day, “Trump + Videos” has an 85 percent negative score. –Alex Shultz
