President Trump loves citing polls that make him look good, but he will have to embrace his mortal enemy, CNN, to boast about his recent approval ratings. A new CNN poll puts POTUS’s positives at 42 percent, compared with 54 percent negatives. That, of course, is still well below anything that would point to Trump being popular. It is a seven-point shift from February, however, and his highest score since the 100-day mark of his presidency. Social thinks the CNN poll is an outlier: It gives Trump a 30-day average of 38 percent positive. His high mark was on Mar. 9, when his Twitter handle @RealDonaldTrump hit 51 percent positive. That was the day after the President agreed to sit down with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Although details of what would be an historic meeting between Trump and Kim remain unclear, Kim did just make his first foray out of the Hermit Kingdom since taking charge in 2011—a train trip to Beijing to commune with Chinese President Xi Jinping and presumably prep for the Trump meeting. Trump’s low point for the month – 26 percent positive – came on Mar. 17 after the President cheered on the Justice Dept.’s decision to fire the FBI’s former deputy director, Andrew McCabe. –Alex Shultz
