Seeing as Netflix has signed on seemingly every public figure of note in recent years, it makes sense that the streaming giant would bring in its latest big-name partners: Barack and Michelle Obama. The former POTUS and FLOTUS agreed to a multi-year deal on Monday, which they’ll use to “produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features." There’s no specific timeline for when the Obama-created shows will launch, though one source told CNN not to expect any content until 2019 at the earliest. The terms of the arrangement haven’t been revealed, which is par for the course for the notoriously tight-lipped Netflix. In a statement, Barack Obama said, "We hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world.” Meanwhile, the sentiment on Twitter has been decidedly negative—conservatives are calling for a boycott of Netflix as a reaction to the news (as of now, there’s no proof anyone is actually quitting the service), while Obama supporters have mostly stayed quiet. Over the last three days, “Netflix + Obamas” has just a 23 percent positive score on Twitter. –Alex Shultz
