Presidential portraits are a big deal, often expected to bookend and summarize presidential legacies. That's why Barack Obama's portrait, by African-American artist Kehinde Wiley, has drawn strong reactions and big praise online. Unveiled on Monday alongside a portrait of Michelle Obama by Amy Sherald, the former President's portrait is getting 80 percent positive sentiments online. It features striking colors and places Obama in front of a wall of plant life, which the artist said represents his path on Earth. Michelle Obama's is getting a slightly cooler reception, at 56 percent positive sentiments, but is still being called ambitious by critics for its experimentation with chroma and its graphic quality. But not everyone is pleased. Fox News host Sean Hannity claimed in a now-deleted post that the portrait of the former President contained images of a “secret sperm” cell. Wiley is known as a provocateur, but according to Snopes, the alleged cell is just a faithfully reproduced vein on Obama's forehead. –Hugo Guzman
