Last Wednesday, Fox News talking head Laura Ingraham mocked 17-year-old Parkland (Fla.) shooting survivor David Hogg for “whining” about getting rejected by four colleges. Hogg was quick to the turn the tables, tweeting out a list of Ingraham’s advertisers and asking his Twitters followers to contact them. His call to action worked, and Ingraham soon issued an apology “in the spirit of Holy Week” that read more like an apology in the spirit of not getting her show cancelled. That was Hogg’s view, too: He didn’t accept Ingraham’s change of heart, noting that it came only “after so many of her advertisers dropped out," as he told CNN. He added that a “bully is a bully” and brought up Ingraham’s recent comments telling LeBron James to “shut up and dribble” rather than criticize President Trump. As of Sunday morning, Ingraham’s program had lost 19 advertisers, some of whom made that decision over the weekend. In the “Yeah, Right Dept.,” Ingraham announced on Friday that she would be going on an “Easter break” for a week. As many on Twitter noted, Bill O’Reilly also took a “vacation” shortly before his Fox News show was permanently canceled. Over the past three days, “Laura Ingraham + David Hogg” has a 14 percent positive score on Social. –Alex Shultz
