Social has fallen hard for Love, Simon. Directed by Dawson's Creek and Arrowverse alum Greg Berlanti, Love, Simon follows its eponymous high school protagonist, played by Jurassic World's Nick Robinson. Simon has a perfect life, until a classmate discovers he is a closeted gay and he finds himself blackmailed. Simon is forced to help his blackmailer with his own love life, all while struggling to come out and find an anonymous admirer in his class. Love, Simon is rated PG-13 in the U.S., making it one of the first gay romantic comedies deliberately to target teens. Celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris and Matt Bomer have been buying out cinemas to screen the film, and Harris told Digital Spy that he thinks it's a film every teen should see. "I can't imagine how excited I would have been to look at this as an example of how to stand tall if I had been 15 to 16 years old," Harris said. Social agrees, giving Love, Simon 89 percent positive reviews online. Rotten Tomatoes isn't too far behind, with 92 percent positives from theatergoers. –Hugo Guzman
