The competition for Best Pop Solo Performance at this year’s Grammys features some of the biggest names in music, most of whom are neck-and-neck in terms of popularity on Twitter. Ed Sheeran leads the way, with his handle, @EdSheeran, pulling 88 percent positives over the past 90 days. He’s nominated for the chart topper “Shape of You,” and the last time he was up for Best Pop Solo Performance in 2016, he emerged victorious. Kelly Clarkson is close behind Sheeran at 86 percent positive; she was nominated for “Love So Soft.” This is the third year in a row Clarkson has been in the running for this award, and she lost the previous two tries. Lady Gaga is up next with an 84 percent positive score, and for what it’s worth, a Grammys.com poll says Gaga and her song “Million Reasons” should be considered the heavy favorite, taking 43 percent of the votes among the five finalists. Twitter puts Kesha right behind Gaga, with an 83 percent positive score -- she’s in contention for “Running” -- and rounding out the list is P!nk, who posts a 78 percent positive score for her hit “What About Us.” –Alex Shulz
